Quinton Byfield might play his first NHL game tonight
The second overall pick from the last draft Quinton Byfield spent most of the season with the Los Angeles Kings AHL club, the Ontario Reign. In 30 games with the team, he had a total of 20 points including 8 goals. Now he is with the big club. Yesterday, Dennis Bernstein, shared a publication that showed that Quinton Byfield wore the gray sweater in training. Other players wearing this jersey were Dustin Brown, Alex Iafallo, Adrian Kempe, Anze Kopitar and Trevor Moore. So we can say that he was well surrounded. All these players are important pieces to the team. This suggests that the young prospect will play his first match tonight. Update:
Per Todd McLellan (Los Angeles Head Coach), Byfield WILL play his first NHL game tonight against Anaheim.
