Cole Caufield will play his first NHL game tonight
Dominique Ducharme confirmed what Tony Marinaro said earlier today, that Cole Caufield will be training tonight. The Montreal fans will be able to see the young marksman in action in the big league as the Canadiens face the Flames for a third game in four day tonight at 6:30 pm.
Cole Caufield, 20 years old, was drafted 15th overall in 2019 by Montreal. He was seen as a steal because he was a top 7 players in the draft. Since, he's been the best prospect for Montreal.
Rumor has it he will be surrounded by Jesperi Kotkaniemi and Josh Anderson in addition to having time on the power play. A match not to be missed for the fans who want to see him play. The Canadiens' coach also claimed that Paul Byron, Tomas Tatar and Jonathan Drouin are uncertain cases for tonight’s game. Jake Allen will be the starting goaltender against the Calgary Flames.
Update: Romanov has been assigned to Taxi Squad.
